I've been saving this video for almost a month!

Such a good video for getting ideas, reference, and understanding the World of Warcraft style!

In my next post, I'll most likely be including links to art blogs of artists that I admire. Alot of texture painted work. :)

Also, I have recently posted my work on various social networks! I'll link those here:

Cannon Progress

I forgot to show my progress on this Cannon. I know it's been a while! Pretty close to done with it. Just some minor areas for polishing.

Finished the wood!

Didn't want it too detailed since it is meant to be a floor texture. Didn't want it too busy!

Now on to barrels!

WIP tileable wood

Starting to venture into tileable texture territory. Still need to work on my wood skills. I think its really important because there are so many types of wood out there! This will be going on a plane to make sure it's visually pleasing on a model. And if it is....it will be part of the personal project I am working on!

Finished Wall #2

Finished another wall painting! Heavily referenced from the walls I saw in Pandaria (World of Warcraft). Pretty much a master copy of the texture I was looking at. Added some extra detail in the painting.

Got the idea for these wall paintings from Cory Loftis. (Image LinkCory's Site)

WIP wall paintings and a shield!

Fun way to develop skill and generate ideas for general flat surfaces!

Based on the theme of the Iron Hordes from World of Warcraft!

Getting back into the flow of painting!

Here are some of the assets for the pirate game. And as a special treat! I put it into sketchfab to test out the service! :D
